New Season Ahead #SB2016

Over the next few months I will be making some announcements which will be effecting my 2016 Season for the better and certainly very exciting, I will be announcing News about Paradise Tri, Sponsors, Training, Tri Coach for me, 2016 Races and also most importantly my Family.

Going into my 2nd year training and racing as a Professional Athlete things have already started to be planned and mapped out.

Here are a few things I can confirm to date :-

COACH – I have recently signed on with a Tri Coach, a fellow Coach Educator of mine and someone that has already mentored me since Staffordshire 70.3 2015. VO2 Maximum Triathlon Coaching. #CP (Coach Paula) actually qualified me back in 2005 as a Tri Coach myself. So she certainly knows me a bit more than just as Simon Brierley. 3wks in and already shaking things up.  Just returned yesterday from a full day of assessment and profiling with CP.  Great to have been a full mot with CP and the use of FTP testing, Swim Video in the endless pool and also Run Conditioning on treadmill.  We are now straight into the first week of build phase as we work towards first big races of the season.

RACES – I have already announced some races on FB in the past weeks but here is the initial race list for #SB2016

  • Dubai 70.3 – 29 Jan
  • Ironman South Africa – 10 April
  • Outlaw Full (Long course Triathlon) – 24 July
  • Ironman Sweden –  20 August

FAMILY – with all of this excitement building into 2016, we are also looking to relocate as a family (Nicola and our 2 boys) to Cyprus as soon as our UK House sells. An opportunity has come up for me in Cyprus with Triathlons and certainly a better location and climate to be training full time from.  I will also be looking to establish Paradise Triathlon Training within Cyprus as well as continue to coach athletes based world wide and opening up opportunity to facilitate professional coaching both on  location and remotely.  Please contact me simon@paradisetri.co.uk for further information.
